Sine Mora is a horizontal shoot'em up that provides a unique take on challenge, where time is the ultimate factor. Mixing classic shooter sensibilities with contemporary presentation, Sine Mora is a gorgeous shmup that offers a Story Mode that weaves an over-the-top tale and an Arcade Mode that provides deep, satisfying gameplay to challenge fans of the genre. With many ways to manipulate time, Sine Mora features over 50 weapon combinations to complete each beautiful stage that form fits to the player's skills with scaling difficulty. Soundtrack composed by Akira Yamaoka and featuring boss designs by Mahiro Maeda.
Storyline
Sine Mora is set on the planet Seol, an unstable world once divided among several nations and now caught in a long war between the dictatorial Layil Empire and the Atarach Kingdom of the Enkie race. The Enkie are known for their ability to manipulate time, but the Empire develops a machine that can accelerate a target's flow of time until it is erased from existence, giving it a decisive advantage. The game follows two parallel storylines set in different eras. In one, a grieving father sets out to take revenge on the Empire that executed his son, a bomber pilot who refused to drop a nuclear weapon on the Enkie. In the other, the last survivors of the Enkie mount a series of desperate strikes against the Empire in an effort to stop its time weapon.
