Roberta Williams is an American designer and writer who co-founded On-Line Systems with Ken Williams; the company became Sierra On-Line and helped establish the graphic-adventure business. She left the industry after Sierra's acquisition and management changes, then returned decades later to independent development with Ken on Colossal Cave.
