Raph Koster is an American designer and entrepreneur whose professional career began at Origin Systems, where he became the creative lead of Ultima Online. He later served as creative director and chief creative officer at Sony Online Entertainment, founded Metaplace in 2006 and co-founded Playable Worlds in 2019, where he is chief executive and creative director.
