Jordan Mechner is an American designer, writer and filmmaker who began as an independent Apple II developer while his work was published by Brøderbund. In 1993 he founded Smoking Car Productions to build The Last Express, later collaborated with Ubisoft on the revival of Prince of Persia and expanded into screenwriting and graphic novels.
