Ron Gilbert is an American designer and programmer who moved from HESware to Lucasfilm Games, where he developed the SCUMM adventure-game system. He later co-founded Humongous Entertainment and Cavedog Entertainment, worked with several independent studios and now develops through Terrible Toybox.
