Michel Ancel is a French designer and director who joined Ubisoft as a teenager and became one of the studio's best-known creative leads. He co-founded the independent Wild Sheep Studio in 2014 while continuing to collaborate with Ubisoft, then retired from game development in 2020 to focus on wildlife conservation.
