Junichi Masuda is a Japanese composer, director and producer who joined Game Freak in 1989 and grew from its music team into directing, production and executive roles. In 2022 he moved to The Pokémon Company as Chief Creative Fellow, advising the franchise beyond day-to-day studio production.
