Hideo Yoshizawa is a game director and designer whose early work at Tecmo included Mighty Bomb Jack and the Famicom version of Ninja Gaiden. His work on Ninja Gaiden combined action mechanics with cinematic story sequences. He developed the game’s approach to wall jumping, ninjutsu and scene construction while working within the limits of the console hardware.
